Our services are turnkey and we take the lead in all raw materials purchasing, machining, shipping, and subcontracting for an array of projects.
Acquiring the proper equipment to efficiently execute a job
Client in the fracking industry needed a 200 lb. forging machined.
As the client’s needs evolved and increased quantities were needed, manufacturing with existing equipment was inefficient and became costly.
To provide pricing relief, Heartland adjusted by investing $500K in a cell that included a dual spindle CNC vertical turning lathe, CNC mill, and a gantry system to efficiently move the heavy parts. By acquiring the proper equipment, we were able to increase capacity and execute the job while keeping pricing aggressive for the client.
